Ragging is an offence at Maharashtra circular No 170 of 2009 , University circular no 876 dated 15/05/2012 & UGC Guideline (Prohibition or Ragging Act 1999 ) Any student found involving himself or herself in their school or college shall be dismissed with immediate effect action on the accused student will be taken as per the norms of University of Pune and state Government of Maharashtra .
